Want to have a fire pit that looks like something out of a magazine? We can do it! This backyard was the perfect setting for a substantial fire pit, it was nice and flat with no overhanging trees.
We started by digging out the lawn and top soil of the fire pit area, then laid some bedding gravel and embedded the fire pit base. Next was the placement of the sandstone seats, which required a small digger due to their massive weight. The fire pit was starting to take shape, but needed the stone paving to complete the look.
The fire pit platform is slightly raised and has a timber surround which we stained black for a contemporary look. We think it would look at home on the pages of any glossy magazine, and the clients love it!
